What would you choose, Money or Wealth?
The secret of millionaires of how they think about money and wealth.
We all want to be successful.
What success means is different to different people. It's a choice we make in life. Remember, these choices we make define us at the end. So, if you had to make a choice of Money or Wealth, what would you choose?
If you think both are the same, then let me tell you it's not.
Money is a legal instrument in form of currency to buy all our needs in life. These needs can be basic or luxurious. It fulfills the minimum aspect of buying them for yourself and your family. To have money, you need to work hard in life. Your transaction is a skill, time, and hard work in exchange for money. The more time you work, the more money you make.

Wealth on the other side is, letting money work for you. It works on a simple principle of interest. The principal is the money you have invested in assets that you leverage. Interest takes care of your interests. Even while you sleep or while you take a vacation for a month spending money you might be having money coming into your account. Imagine you play a round of golf and on the 19th hole, you see a message on your phone $100,000 credited into your XXXX Bank account.
So, I started golfing in Dec 2016, and the only reason I did it because I wanted to find the secret of millionaires. I was just 28 then, hustling through life chasing money on a monthly basis. I had the dreams of buying a home, car and traveling the world. It was hard because I was broke with huge liabilities. Soon by 2018 when I touched 30, I decided to invest my life taking the biggest risk committing to golf. An expensive game, competitive in nature, and tough as hell. But I knew what my choice was - Be Wealthy.

So, let me share the blueprint of what I set for myself. At first, I made my goals clear. I documented them in a piece of paper and against each of them, I defined the money it needs and set a deadline.
I realized that my goals were as common as anyone is ie. Get married, have kids, have a home, have a car, travel around the world, take care of parents, party with friends, and good health.
Immediately, I put a cost on my lifestyle and my family's. It came out such that I needed $800k overall to accomplish my goals. This meant purely in terms of money I need. This is a classic mistake we all do, chase money.
But if you want to be wealthy, focus on compounding interest. I decided to create multiple streams of income that would mean creating strong systems. Systems that's earned me regular checks over a period of time. Because as we grow we also increase lifestyle expenses. To be wealthy, you need a consistent paying amount of $80k annually which I call as passive income.
Just then I met my golfing buddy Veerendra who is the owner of a couple of hotels, schools, and an angel investor. He gave me a great perspective of working just 1 hour daily and making deals happen. Focus on 20% of work that earns you an 80% revenue.
Now, I am now an avid golfer, an entrepreneur, real estate consultant, insurance business, and digital influencer. I have learned millionaires love money but focus more on wealth building exercise.
If you are someone who chooses to become wealthy and have questions, feel free to ask. I'll be happy to guide you.
