Morning rituals that helps you grow every single day
Did you know what you do the first 3 hours after you wake up defines your day.
I was lazy as a kid. I hated going to school. But if it meant going for sports, I was up early ready for the game.
Soon, I was sent to boarding school where I went through building my discipline in life. Today, I thank my parents for that decision. The reason I say this is because it changed my perspectives of early mornings.
It was tough at the beginning but that was the routine for everyone. You had to adapt. Every day I pushed myself hard. When you accept that it's part of your daily routine, you then start to focus on how to use the time wisely.
I had a routine,
5:45 am - Wake up, make your bed, and brush.
6:15 am - Read the newspaper, study time.
7:00 am - Cleaning the room, gardening, etc.
7:30 am - Have a bath, get ready.
8:00 am - Assemble and head for breakfast
9:00 am - School assembly, prayers, and class start.
So, I go back to times when I felt most productive and built a routine that taught me the first 3 hours are critical.
Now, I'm in my 30’s and even today the first 3 hours are important. I know we all think about having daily routines but fail to be consistent. This happens because we lack the ecosystem around us or the habits we built have put us in the comfort zone.
You need to know how to break bad habits. So, let's start with waking up daily with an alarm clock at 545 and break the pattern. Do this for 21 days and believe me you will start to love yourself more.
Why I call morning routine as ritual

To me, it is being devoted to the process. It is focussing on the inner self to grow stronger. I call this my space where I think, act, and grow. When we do it with the utmost respect, it's become a ritual.
If you want to change for the better, build your morning ritual, and share your thoughts, experiences along with us.
Be the best version of yourself.

Hey Chetan, reading about your routine took me back to COPS! Good effort. 🙂
